Description : Two weeks after Woodstock, on September 3, 1969, at Frank's in Harlem, Jimi Hendrix held a press conference about an upcoming benefit concert from which the proceeds went to the United Bloc Association . This press conference was the first opportunity for journalists from leading newspapers and magazines to hear Hendrix's thoughts on his performance and his views on the cultural significance of Woodstock.

Two weeks after Woodstock, Jimi Hendrix appeared at Frank's Restaurant in Harlem on September 3, 1969 to announce his upcoming performance at a benefit concert on behalf of the United Block Association. This press conference marked the first opportunity for many in the mainstream press to curious Hendrix about his performance and the cultural impact of the Woodstock festival.

Source : the project is based on the highest quality currently available audio from the two-disc edition of “A Second Look” /A Second Look/ and video from the Associated Press archive /AP Archive/, in both sources the entire conference is NOT presented, AP Archive is composed of chaotically stitched fragments (~6:40), the sequence in Second Look is preserved but several episodes are deleted
